Educating the next generation is vital to ensuring a secure and successful future for our children, which is why Gary Hartman of Hartman Global has been going to Purdue University for the past few years to speak with students there. This past November, Hartman went to the ABE-490 class at Purdue to speak with students there about the importance of intellectual property law and the dynamic changes it has seen over the years.

The Duneland Chamber has partnered with the Town of Burns Harbor to bring our European Market on the Road to their Food Truck Square. The Burns Harbor Food Truck Square is an established event that continues to grow. Their market is held every Wednesday night from May through September. From 5 pm to 8 pm. The market is located at the former site of the Westport Community Club. Off of Rt. 149.
The Board of Trustees for Porter Health Care System is pleased to announce that Sean T. Dardeau has been named CEO of Porter Health Care System, and Market CEO for Northwest Indiana. He will begin his new position Feb. 5.
