During the holidays, it’s easy for people to get caught up in planning elaborate meals and festivities. With family and friends guaranteed to make an appearance, feeding the masses can become a tricky task for even the most experienced host or hostess.
When Ideas in Motion Media came together for a holiday party on Tuesday evening, of course dinner was a concern. Luckily, Fiddlehead Restaurant was able to provide a wonderful meal via their catering services.
Boasting a large menu with plenty of options, the restaurant not only had items to satisfy each individual, but a process that made ordering, picking up, and serving the meal as simple as could be. No catering can be valued on simplicity alone, which is why we asked the LIFERS to contribute their thoughts on the wonderful meal that was provided.
The food from Fiddlehead was fantastic. The parmesan encrusted chicken, in particular, had a uniquely delicious flavor that made it stand out.
I've eaten at Fiddlehead a few times, and their food is always incredible. I had their vegetarian pot pie this time around and, man...it was amazing. Perfect winter comfort food. Hearty & warm, and the crust was absolutely perfect. Definitely something I would eat again.
I absolutely loved dinner! I already enjoyed Fiddlehead but having them out of the restaurant was incredible. We got to sit with friends and enjoy a meal with the comfort of being in a home. It was truly the best of both worlds.
Everything was delicious, but I really loved the mixed vegetables. They were so crisp and not mushy, and that is difficult to find in catering because they either over or under cook them. These were delicious! I also really liked the apple pie. The crust was so flakey and just melted in your mouth. So yummy!
My husband loved the Pot Pie and the chicken. He usually doesn’t like the fancy sauces, but he really enjoyed the garlic sauce on the chicken, and also doesn’t usually like pot pie, but he had seconds!
I tried the mashed potatoes, parmesan encrusted chicken, and the vegetarian pot pie and each item was just as delicious as the last! I was close to grabbing a second plate but I didn’t want to get too addicted, that is how good it was!
The stuffed mushrooms were a delightful appetizer that got the Lifer team’s appetites ready for more. The parmesan encrusted chicken was a delicious and perfectly cooked entre that was just the right mix of crunchy and savory.
The garlic mashed potatoes and parmesan crusted chicken were the clear winners for me! I couldn’t get enough of the potatoes, though, as they were soft, fluffy, and not overloaded with garlic. It was a perfect side to go with the crisp, moist chicken.
