I think I may give up on Entourage.
I've watched HBO's hit show, now in its sixth season, since the beginning. Entourage is not that bad of a show, it just is not that good. Each week, the premise of the show seems so good, and then 25 minutes later it ends disappointing. It's like you were expecting an A on a paper, and end up with a B-minus. So, why don't I just stop watching it? Because next week's is supposed to be so good! Mark Titus of the Club Trillion blog once wrote, "If wives and husbands gave each other as many chances as I've given Entourage, there'd never be divorce." I know how he feels.
They meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. at Porter County Aging & Community Services (1005 Campbell Street, Valparaiso). There are no costs associated with joining them and all levels of Bridge players are welcome. Anyone interested should please call Sara Nelson, (219) 241-2237.
Ivy Tech Community College is offering a cake decorating basics and wedding cake construction and design class beginning September 19 through November 7.

On Wednesday the hubs and I were invited to tour the Subaru of Indiana Automotive factory, we jumped at the opportunity! As you may know we are Subaru enthusiasts through and through.
How awesome it was to see a car factory in person! All I kept thinking was how it reminded me of the short video I saw in my childhood, about robots, and all the things they can do for us now- including help build cars.
When Hobart resident Juan A. Mendez attended Indiana University Northwest about 10 years ago, he wanted to be a writer. He majored in English and minored in performing arts, pursuing disciplines that stoked his desire to create on the page and the stage.
Now, eight years after earning his IU Northwest degree, Mendez’s creative journey has led him to the big screen, where he and filmmaking partner Zernul R. Shackelford, of Merrillville, will premiere their debut feature at the Portage 16 IMAX on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 7:15 p.m. Admission is free, but donations will be...
