Heading into this evenings game, the Calumet College of St. Joseph men's basketball team knew that they were going to face their first real test of the season in #21 Trinity International University. After blowing a 15-point lead, CCSJ showed resolve and were able to sneak by TIU for the upset to go along with their first conference win of the year.

In one of the most memorable and exhilarating games in the Region’s history, the crowds leapt from their seats at Valparaiso High School’s football stadium to watch the Vikings take the title of Regional Champions.
It's never a great thing to lose on your home court. It's even worse to lose in a tournament that you put together. Thankfully, the Calumet College of St. Joseph men's basketball team didn't have to worry about any embarrassment, as they dispatched Brescia University 81-70 to move to 4-0 on the young season.
Valparaiso University Hosts Preview MVC Tournament at Sand Creek Country Club, Preps for Championship in Spring
The Valparaiso University Women’s Golf Team is making huge strides in their second year in the Missouri Valley Conference. The team will be hosting the MVC Women’s Golf Championship on April 14-16, 2019 at Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton. This acts as a huge opportunity for both the university and the club; in mid-October, they had a taste of what to expect in spring.
With their first win of the season already behind them, the Wave were looking to start their 2018-19 season with two victories in a row. Mission accomplished. For the second time in as many seasons, the Crimson Wave start the young campaign 2-0 after a decisive win against East-West University on Saturday afternoon at the Jaguar Tip-Off Classic.
After two tournaments that saw the Calumet College of St. Joseph men's bowling team garner less than ideal results, the squad looked to simplify their game. Fortunately their approach of getting back down to fundamentals worked, as the Crimson Wave earned a second place finish at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout this past weekend in the Indiana state capital.
This Week in Valpo Volleyball: The Valparaiso University volleyball team faces a key stretch of three matches in four days this weekend, traveling to take on UNI and Drake on Friday and Saturday, respectively, before returning home and hosting Missouri State Monday evening.
The first one is always the most memorable. One day after celebrating his birthday, coach Mis Mrak was given a big present by his Calumet College of St. Joseph men's soccer team. Thanks to a shutout of the visiting Trojans of Trinity International, Mrak finally has his first win while helming a CCSJ team.
